Beyond Basics class is designed for students who have at least 200 hours of machine quilting experience.

Part 1
Interpreting a quilt
Choosing appropriate patterns
Working within your customers budget

Students are encouraged to bring several quilts that they would like advice regarding choosing surface design.

Part 2
Freehand designs (demonstated)Hands on practice for student

Drafting custom patterns for unusual shapes found in pieced quilts. Wow your customers with unique designs that "fill up" those spaces that don't yield to conventional book patterns.
